You love YMag because? ….
This is a magazine that you just don’t want to throw away after you have read it! YMag empowers you to be you, there is nothing superficial about this magazine it is a real, heart centred magazine created with the purpose of positive change and support for each and every reader.
Your favourite part of YMag is?
The people featured in each and every issue of YMag would have to be my favourite part sharing their Y, their story, their business, the ups and downs the fact that these are real everyday people who inspire the reader to become a better version of themselves.
What inspires you?
I’d have to say people in general really inspire me. It can be their smile, the tears they shed, and words they have spoken… the list goes on. Any one of these actions can really inspire you to become a better version of yourself, to empower you make that change.
You step outside and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?
I would be very grateful that I had found the winning lotto ticket to start with! What would I do with the money? I’m not really sure to be honest. But here are some ideas I came up with in no particular order:
Pay off our dairy farm.
Travel with my family.
Buy my dream home.
Gift my children money.
Donate to local organisations and the amazing school my children attend.
Invest in my own personal development.
If you could go back five years, what advice would you give your younger self?
Live your truth and be your own authentic self. You are unique there is no one else like you. Never doubt yourself and remember to listen to your inner voice and most importantly is to always believe in yourself!
What is the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Investing in ME first and foremost! Then joining a heart centred movement of beautiful women who are a going to India to speak as part of the Australian delegation at the Women’s Economic Forum.
What personal development do you regularly do?
I have invested in a personal mentor (Tracey Horton) who works with me 1:1, I am also working with a personal coach (Martina Hughs). I am part of an amazing online educational platform, I also read YMag and I am also a member of the Shardonay Way and She HYVE Facebook groups.
And finally, what activity nourishes your soul?
I love reading so YMag is definitely something that nourishes my soul.
Attending events like the YFactor conference in 2018where you can connect and network with like-minded women.
